The role of Churchpoint
Churchpoint is a platform on which churches, congregations and Christian organisations (“organisers”) publish their own events. The contract for taking part in an event, and for paid tickets the purchase contract, is concluded solely between you and the respective organiser. Churchpoint provides the technical processing for this and is not itself an organiser.
The respective organiser is responsible for the content of an event, for running it and for cancelling it. After you have registered, you can reach the organiser through the reply address of your ticket email. In the Churchpoint app you can also open the organiser profile beforehand. If the organiser’s details are shown on the event page, you can use those as well. If you cannot get through, info@churchpoint.de will help you. Organisers who are legally required to publish their own provider identification are themselves responsible for its accuracy.
Liability for content
As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these pages under the general laws. However, we are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third party information, in particular the event content posted by organisers, or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under the general laws remain unaffected. As soon as we become aware of a specific infringement, we remove the content concerned without delay.
Liability for links
Our service contains links to external third party websites, for example to websites and social media profiles of organisers. We have no influence on their content and accept no responsibility for it. The respective provider or operator is always responsible for the content of the linked pages. If we become aware of legal infringements, we remove such links.
Copyright
The content and works created by us on these pages and in the app are subject to German copyright law. Contributions by third parties, in particular event images and event texts provided by organisers, are marked as such. The respective organiser warrants that the necessary rights to them exist.
Consumer dispute resolution
We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
